The great events of life are planned for us. They are calculated to develop and educate the soul, and are mapped in your chart. The transiting and progressed planets can predict certain periods of your life. These events will be turning points in your life for good or ill, or happiness or sorrow. This is where "free will" comes into play and you are the driver in this incarnation. You are handling the caution signs, stop signs, warnings on curves ahead, etc. You can go with the flow, or you can accept or reject opportunities in your life as you see fit.
Take into account the various spiritual and psychological implications, as well as the material plane potentials which are part of your individual life plan. The word potential is used because you have been given a certain amount of free will, and the life choices that you make will determine to a large extent the level at which these cosmic energies actually play themselves out.
